LACoFD 165 Shirt Design

This was a project I decided to do for fun for a family member who is a member of the LA County Fire Department. The design changed several times over to accomodate the station and department. I wanted to try something different with the maltese cross than what is commonly seen in department shirts and incorporated the "165" as it appears on the front of their fire engine. The design works nicely on either a navy or grey shirt.
LACoFD 41 Patch Design

This was the first project I did for Los Angeles County Fire Department. When I designed this patch it was a time in the department where each station had their own patch. Each station was unique and carried a certain moxy like different military units - a badge of honor. The patch would represent the area they served noting landmarks, slogans and nicknames etc. The guys at Station 41 had a clear idea of what they wanted - a grim reaper holding a crown. Years after I created the patch, a reality TV show was developed called "LA Fire & Rescue" where my patch design was used in the introduction to "S1 E2 - Boots on the Ground", which aired Jun 28, 2023.
